Campers spend their days harvesting, cooking, exploring nature, and learning how food nourishes the body—with time to slow down, participate deeply, and build confidence.
Small by design (maximum of 10 campers) so every child can participate fully in cooking, gardening, and exploration, be seen and supported, and engage deeply. A small group allows for a calmer pace, stronger community, and a more meaningful experience.
Calm, thoughtful, individualized, and hands-on: Less “structured entertainment,” more meaningful experiences that build competence, independence, and real-world skills.
A true “summer on the farm”: Children spend full days outdoors—moving, exploring, noticing, and learning from the natural world.
Campers learn by doing, asking questions, and making connections between food, health, and nature.

FAQs
Is Nulish Farm Camp good for first-time campers?
Yes—Nulish is intentionally small, calm, and supportive. Many children thrive in this environment especially if large camps feel overwhelming.
What if my child is picky with food?
That’s common. We approach food with curiosity, not pressure. Kids often become more willing to taste when they’ve harvested and cooked it themselves.
Is it mostly structured or mostly free play?
Both. We have a daily rhythm (cooking + farm work + exploration) and also protect time for outdoor play and creative discovery.
Is it safe / supervised?
Yes. Small size and high staff/camper ratio ensures that campers are supervised throughout the day and activities are age-appropriate, with clear boundaries.
What if my child has food allergies or dietary restrictions?
We work with families to ensure cooking activities are safe and inclusive. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary needs when registering.
What should campers bring each day?
Children should bring:
- A packed lunch
- Reusable water bottle
- Sun hat and sunscreen
- Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes suitable for farm activities
Clothes may get dusty or muddy during gardening and outdoor play. We will be cooking and will provide snacks but are asking you to bring lunch from home.
We are happy to answer any questions.
Please feel free to reach out if you would like to discuss whether Nulish Farm Camp is a good fit for your family.
